Joe McTyre Photograph Collection
John Cothran papers
This collection primarily contains documents from John Cothran's military service during World War II and as a member of the Organized Army Reserve. Material includes records of service, orders and memos, and discharge papers. Additional items include family papers such as his brother James Jr.'s baby book, diplomas, and awards. Of particular note is material given to discharged soldiers after World War II to aid their return to civilian life.
John G. White, Jr. papers
This collection contains correspondence written between John G. White, Jr., his mother Eva White, and his future wife Marbelle Ware, while he was deployed during World War II. Of particular note are cards produced specifically to send to servicemen, two Georgia Power newsletters, and a censored letter from White to his mother, dated July 27, 1943. There are also examples of ration books, newspaper clippings regarding White's marriage, and a clipping autographed by Carl Conway.
Joseph S. Skobba military papers
This collection contains military related materials regarding the service of Dr. Joseph S. Skobba. Included are a leave record, a pay data card, an identification card, and a laboratory test.

This collection contains a U.S. war savings bond that "is your contribution toward the building of the new cruiser Atlanta." It has a photograph of a drawing of the proposed U.S.S. Atlanta.
Lee R. Gandee letter
The collection contains a letter from Lee R. Gandee to Ruth Blair and describes Gandee's impressions traveling through the South in the 1930s and his plans to move to Atlanta, Georgia after being released from the Army and work on renovating a house called "The Old White House."

Leonard Apostolu papers
This collection contains materials collected by Leonard Apostolu during his service in the United States Army and after being honorably discharged. Materials include newspaper draft notices, immunization records, United States Civil Service Commission papers, correspondence, certificates, travel orders, an Army Christmas dinner menu, and commendation papers. Other materials include an Apostolu family tree and genealogy, applications for federal employment, and a recommendation letter.
Margaret C. Howell WWII Ration Book
This collection contains a ration book and a cookbook using Swans Down flour, How to Bake by the Ration Book. The ration book belonged to Margaret C. Howell and has four pages of stamps remaining. The cookbook includes several different types of recipes that are low in sugar, shortening, and eggs.

Mary Cawthon McIntrye papers
The bulk of this collection is short story drafts and notes written by Mary Cawthon McIntrye for her historical fiction and mystery stories. There are also three World War II ration books from her family.
Mary Virginia Bryan school papers
This collection contains documentation of Mary Virginia Davis's education. The bulk of the materials are grammar, arithmetic, and spelling workbooks from E. Rivers School in Atlanta, Georgia. Other school papers include graduation achievement documents, and an E. Rivers School 1946-1947 yearbook titled The Rivers Overflow. There is also a World War II ration book and a wedding dress invoice for Mary Virginia Brown, Bryan's great-grandmother.
Military Order of the World Wars documents
This collection contains issues of the Military Order of the World Wars' national bulletins that detail the status of American military men serving overseas, as well as the Atlanta chapter's membership rosters and a memorial service program for fallen members. Of particular note is a speech given by Military Order of the World Wars member, William R. Brewster (1921-2012), on behalf of President Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945) on Army Day in 1945.
